World Suicide Prevention Day

Description

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day! That is the yellow ribbon, by the way (ribbons can mean multiple things).
I wanted to draw about... well suicide particularly because it is a rising problem and I know people whose lives this has greatly effected.
Now, I understand that I could've taken a more "child-friendly" approach on this drawing and have no violence in it what-so-ever. However, I believe that would defeat the true purpose of this because, in reality, suicide is not an innocent topic. It is depression, struggle, and grief. This topic is not a laughing matter, it is extremely serious. I mean, there is a life stolen every 30 seconds by suicide everywhere around the world. Whether you believe in God or gods or even an afterlife, every single person's life is precious because everyone does have a purpose, in my opinion, whether it be good or bad. It is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.

Okay, so about the drawing.
If you notice, this young woman has bags under her eyes from little sleep. This is because she suffers from depression and that can cause insomnia. This also explains the wrists, which are not hers but rather just random ones. In the right hand there is a noose and in the left, a bottle of pills. The woman has a cloth over her mouth saying that "you're not alone". This cloth is there because she feels like she can't be heard and is all alone. Her eyes are rolling back as the last light flashes in her eyes while the bullet goes. She has a worried look on her face because of grief and self-struggle. Yellow Ribbon
